About
RACT
The Run Across CT (or CT125) started with a crazy idea and a single person. Race Director and ultra runner, Evan Titus, wanted to create the first cross-Connecticut run with a goal of it being a premier east-coast ultramarathon. Being someone who prefers to lead by example, he set off as the one and only runner of the CT125 in 2025. Evan planned for 6 months before he stepped foot on the start line. He ended by completing 123 miles of the course in 27 hours (2x his longest run ever at that point).

Evan's Mission
During the inaugural run in 2025, Evan partnered with the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Southport to create a fundraiser in conjunction with the maiden voyage. With a goal of raising $15,000, Evan and the club hit their fundraiseing goal on the day he completed the run, April 6th, 2025. Continuing the great relationship between The Run Across CT team and Wakeman, this event aims to inspire and bring the community together in support of a great cause.
